11.25.11 - Tis the season!

Nate enjoyed seeing the big Christmas tree at Bradley Fair tonight while standing in line for free carriage rides. It's become one of our Thanksgiving weekend traditions.

02.12.11 - Snowman

The weather has been a roller coaster lately. We've had two major snowstorms sandwiched in with two warm spells that have set record highs. The temps finally warmed up enough today to spend a little bit of time in the snow, which will probably be all melted in the next day or two. Sadly, our front yard visitor probably won't live long.

Grandma and Grandpa Shepherd asked for our input on picking curtains and window treatments for their new house so we spent some time at the mall tonight looking (and playing) around.

Nate loves closing the door to his bedroom. He's laughing here because he thinks it's funny that it slams into his dad's head while he's trying to take this photo.

11.27.10 - Carriage rides

We braved the chilly nighttime air tonight to ride the free Carriage Rides at Bradley Fair. It's a fun time but if you go take a blanket and be prepared to wait.

11.18.10 - Poor baby

Nate's been fighting a slight fever today. He woke up after being in bed for an hour tonight. After changing his diaper, he rolled over on his tummy, butt in the air, and laid there on the floor. Poor guy, he felt so rotten. So I stretched out next to him and snuggled. I don't know if he felt better but it made me feel better for him.

09.18.10 - Daddy's birthday

It's my dad's birthday, yay!

09.13.10 - Bonk!

Nate crawled under the table tonight and then bonked his head. He was fine, though; it hurt me more to climb under the table to console him.

While sitting with me on the sofa today, Nate grabbed my ball cap so I let him wear it. We all thought it was pretty funny! This photo reminds me of a similar scene with Maddie at about the same age. Click here to see it.

05.31.10 - Holiday picnic

We enjoyed Memorial Day with a trip to the zoo and then a picnic lunch in the backyard. Yes, that is a pink Bumbo chair Nate's sitting in. We ate fried chicken, potato salad and grapes. Nate ate his fingers!

05.21.10 - No way, Jose!

Nan and Pop babysat Maddie and Nate while Angie and I went out to dinner to celebrate our fourth anniversary, which was yesterday. If you'd have told me four years ago that I'd have to kids today, I'd have said, "NO WAY!" If you ask me now if I want to give either of them up, I'd say, "NO WAY!" :)
