06.27.11 - Breakfast with Daddy

Nate is the early bird at our house and usually eats a banana with Daddy every morning before Maddie and Tommy even wake up. He likes bananas so much he is trying to steal Daddy's even though he has his own!

06.23.11 - Proud Papa

Nate clings to Grandpa Shepherd after hanging out as his house for awhile. I'm struck by how proud my father looks here. More than once I've heard him or my mother comment that he enjoys watching the kids grow as he gets to experience all that he missed all those years working the night shift. And considering I never really got to hang out with any of my grandparents, I'm glad they live close enough that they can share in their lives.

06.17.11 - (Wannabe) Arteest

Nate likes to follow his sister's lead in coloring but really all he likes to do is eat the crayons. At lunch today, Angie reports, he tried dipping one in ketchup.

06.15.11 - Backyard buddies

Neighbors Kenleigh and Ellie play in the sandbox with Nate during a backyard barbecue.

06.02.11 - Chase

Grandpa Greg chases Nate around his living room tonight. We're glad Nate gets along with him so well!
