01.27.11 - Look familiar?

Our Parents as Teachers parent educator came for her regular visit tonight. Nate enjoyed playing with the toys she brought for him although he still played shy. But there's something more. Do you recognize that shirt? Today marked the first time that we officially had "hand me downs" at our house. Nate wore this shirt that Grandma Shepherd originally bought for Maddie. It reads, "I didn't do it. No one saw me do it. I want to speak to my grandma." Click here to see Maddie wearing it.

We were paid a visit by our Parents as Teachers parent educator tonight. She brought an activity for Nate to practice his pincer grasp. He had no problems picking them up and stuffing them in his mouth!

08.31.10 - Parents as Teachers

We had our first visit of the new school year from Coco, our Parents as Teachers parent educator, tonight. Maddie warmed right up to her, remembering that she gets to play with a bag full of toys. Nate wasn't so sure about the whole thing. He was much more comfortable sitting on his mommy's lap.
