02.22.12 - Airplane!

Airplanes on final approach to Wichita's Mid-Continent Airport often fly right over the Sedgwick County Zoo. While waiting to go in today, Nate spotted at least three airplanes overhead. And if you look closely, you can see Maddie reading her map. She knows how to make her daddy proud! Of course, Nate and Tommy do, too!

Today we went to the zoo for Daddy's birthday.

Nate was pretty excited to meet this guy at the zoo today.

10.30.10 - Just happy

The weather has continued to be so nice the past few days that today we decided to go to the zoo. We were there an hour and went through the Children's Farm, where Maddie and Nate together rode on the wooden steer. This isn't something Maddie would ordinarily do on her own but when she saw how much fun her brother was having she insisted on joining in.

Thanks for near constant mooching from Harley, Nate wasn't phased by this sheep hoping for a treat today at the zoo.

07.24.10 - Zoo trip

While I was busy working the bridal fair at Century II, Aunt Tiffany came over and went with Naters (and Maddie and Mommy!) to the zoo! They had a great time.

Tiffany, thanks for spending part of the day with the kids while I was away!
