08.13.11 - Mr. Clean

Nate likes to sweep and mop our living room and kitchen floors. Maybe he's trying to tell us something. It's alright with me if he wants to start doing chores. I've got a lot more where that came from!

08.11.11 - Turn your back for three seconds ...

... and the kid eats a crayon. And is proud of it!

08.10.11 - Kissing Kenleigh

Kenleigh came to play tonight while her dad helped me replace a soffit and some fascia board on the house. They used to be our next door neighbors and we saw each other quite a bit, like the time she laid a smooch on him. Nate was bashful then (Click here) but tonight he wasn't so shy. That's my boy, Nate!

08.09.11 - Cheeps*

Nate thought it was hilarious to feed me chips on the floor before dinner tonight. He'd stick part of one in my mouth, breaking it off at his finger tips and just laugh, laugh laugh about it. Because of the commotion (or maybe because there was food involved), Harley had to check it out.


And when Nate wouldn't share with her, she chased him around the living room!

08.07.11 - Eat more Chicken (McNuggets)

Maddie likes 'em. Nate likes 'em. Tommy will probably like 'em, too.

08.06.11 - Baa!

Nate was pretty excited to meet this guy at the zoo today.

07.31.11 - Boys will be boys

While Maddie was using the potty today, Nate did the only rational thing an 18-month-old boy could do: He put a diaper on his head. Don't worry, it was a clean one.

07.22.11 - Show me your pouty face, Nate!

Nate's been showing off his pouty face a lot this week. It could be that he's the middle child ... or it could be that he does it on command and then follows it up with a big, cheesy grin.

07.11.11 - Dressing Myself

Tonight Nate decided to dress after we put his jams on. I remember Maddie doing the same thing at this age.

07.10.11 - Hats

We took the kids outside briefly this morning before the heat settled in for the day. Nate put on his own shoes and Angie lathered on the sunscreen but before heading out the door, he stopped to grab one of my Reds hats that was nearby.
