We thought it would be difficult to ween Maddie off her binkers once Nate was born but really after a couple of weeks of constantly taking it away from her or just refusing to let her have it, she's pretty much lost interest in it. At first, she liked to steal them from Nate, either pulling them right out of his mouth or by reaching into his crib. But tonight, she found one, walked over to where Nate was hanging out and tried, many times, to put it in his mouth. It takes him a few seconds to latch on to it, something that Maddie had very little patience for. So, after a few failed attempts, she decided to stick it in her own mouth. And I quickly took it away from her.
She's such a grown woman. :-) Wish we could have met up this weekend. Things were so hectic around my grandma's house, though, so it's a good thing we didn't make plans. Hope you guys had a great Memorial Day!
